Friday 13th Feb was the Endurance House (also known as Red House) Talent Show, and we’re delighted to state that this was a great success: 15 separate items of high quality acts, solos, recitals, bands etc all raising much needed funds for the 2 charities selected by Red House:

WELL DONE to all performers, and also to our enthusiastic audience. Endurance raised £520 profit from the event, which will be divided between the following charities:

The Albanian Musician Charity, which is a charity put forward by Mr Forber via his local church, and The Bethany Project, which is a charity for an orphanage inTanzania, Africa . Red House told us that we are raising money for these orphans to give them a better life.
We had 3 girls from the orphanage visiting us at Hornby during 2014, whilst they were undergoing Teacher Training at Blackburn College so they could go back and teach the children over there. English volunteers go over to this orphanage and help. Pictures of The Bethany Project follow:
